Spirit says, “We would do well to remember that we were placed on this earth with all the resources we need to heal and to thrive. Often the remedies we seek are deeply simply and based on earth medicine. Mankind would like you to believe that only they can heal the body, with their riches and vanity, but it is God who has inspired the earth to be your medicine cabinet.

The Epsom Salt bath does wonders for your skin, hair, nails, and for soothing aches and pains of the muscle. It is a heart medicine as well, the magnesium is a rich mineral key to the body’s health. While ingested forms of magnesium are often suggested (by health professionals), this mineral is best absorbed in the skin and through the pores of the body. Soak often at least 10 minutes, even if it is just your feet or even the palms of your hands. Your body will take in only what it needs and you will find yourself restored.”

A note from me – I personally had no idea Epsom Salt had all of these benefits, but like me, if you dig a little deeper you will find that it does indeed do all of the above. Such a simple thing for such a great benefit to the body! In addition, after writing this message, over the course of the next few days I ‘mysteriously’ ran into two other magnesium-related posts: One from my favorite nutritionist which you can view here, and another about the critical link to the magnesium-stress pathway. Maybe it’s time we all regularly treat ourselves to an Epsom bath, or, if you prefer to save the water, a good foot-soak is just as beneficial. The bottom’s of our feet are huge absorbers…
