The Windbridge Institute and The Windbridge Research Center are two of my favorite organizations. They are related but the later is focused strictly on research, most especially that of mediumship.

In the book Investigating Mediums, head researcher, Julie Beischel, PhD documented her findings and answered some very basic questions – not only about the ability of mediums, but also about what to expect when consulting a medium. That makes this book ideal for developing mediums as well as those who seek to utilize the services of a medium.

Her book is what I consider a must-read and provides some of the most recent research findings on mediumship. It is a glaring reality of the challenges science faces when seeking to prove the survival of consciousness, while still embracing the fact that some people truly have a gift for providing evidential information obtained in a seemingly anomalous ways. In addition, there is a section which answers some very basic questions on what someone can expect when seeking out a mediumship reading.

Investigating Mediums is written for the lay-person. It explains some of the science without being too technical therefore making it easy to read and understand. It is fascinating and educational, as well as supportive of the potential benefits and healing that mediumship can provide.

Advancing our mediumship abilities is about more than just practice and honing our skills. It is also about gaining an awareness of the science that seeks to validate the ability as well as recognizing the challenges and benefits that the ability can provide.

So pick up a book and get reading and support this amazing organization in the process!
