Energy is a term sometimes used to refer to a person’s overall feeling or vibe. For example, we might say ‘our energy is off,’ or, that someone has ‘bad energy,’ but our energy is actually far more complex than these simple references indicate.
So what exactly is this energy I am referring to?
It has been expressed as many things – from our aura, to the chakras, from Prana and Chi or Qi, to the subtle or energetic body. There is also our bio-electrical field that exists as a result of us just being alive, but the energy I am talking about is something far more than what results from our physical body.
Scientifically speaking, we don’t really know yet exactly what this energy is, or, if it even really exists or is merely a premise for some as of yet unexplanable component to our existence. Nevertheless, humanity has been referring to it for eons. Some will argue that quantum mechanics can’t yet be applied to macro-environments (like people), however, the fact that consciousness is capable of working beyond time and space (as proven by countless Psi-related experiments), potentially indicates to some aspect of quantum level functioning. (For more on this topic you can read Entangled Minds by Dean Radin, Ph.D.) In addition, it has even been presented by a few that information, not energy, is the acting force of the universe and I personally can’t dispute this either (Bill Bengston, Stephen Schwartz). Information is indeed being transferred between us and everything else at all times. The nature of psi is the very reception and interaction with these fields of information. Despite all the scientific arguments, as a psychic and a medium I tend to also accept that some aspects to life we can’t yet explain. They remain true despite our not yet understanding the mechanism.
For the sake of clarification regarding energy, I like to refer to this undefined subtle energy as the Quantum Energy Body, or QEB for short. This term simply ensures that we are differentiating between the energy of our physical body versus the subtle or quantum-based energy body.
Unlike the human biofield that dissipates with distance, this QEB exists at a subtle level that can’t be measured and does not diminish over distances. However, what can and has been measured are its affects in the world around us. I know this doesn’t really tell us exactly what it is, but this is much like trying to pinpoint the definition of consciousness. It is a nebulous concept that we just can’t fully define or explain despite the fact we know it exists.
The other thing that’s a bit confusing about the subtle QEB concept is that it is not the same as our consciousness, but I will expand on this more in a moment.
So what do we need to know about this QEB?
The first thing we should understand is that we all have it/one. If you look at the picture attached to this post you will see a lovely depiction of this quantum energy body. Again, we can’t prove this is what it looks like, but let’s just accept that it is real, regardless of what it looks like.
The next thing we should understand is that because our energy is a quantum body, it therefore functions at the quantum level. In other words, like our consciousness, this quantum energy body is not bound by space or time, or by any solid physical barriers.
This leads us to our third understanding. Because the quantum body functions at the quantum level, it can mingle and interact with the quantum body’s of other things – this includes people, places, objects, animals, plants, etc. We call this interactive process ‘psi!’
This takes us to our fourth understanding. We can consciously control our quantum energy body to help manage its mingling and interactions with other quantum bodies. This utilization of our energy (based on intention) is referred to as Expressive Psi and is known as Psychokinesis or PK for short.
These four simple facts are pretty easy to understand. Put together, they let us know that our QEB is real, at our control, and able to connect with other QEB’s. Despite this simple awareness, the real test is in trying to discern this energy as well as to learn how to control it and put it to some practical use.
I have to confess that there was a time in my life when I would hear people talk about energy and I would roll my eyes. I thought they were being ridiculous. I didn’t understand what this energy was, nor could those who claimed to feel it explain to me what it was. Eventually I came to understand this energy and was able to feel it in myself as well as others, but it took time. It’s not something that can be detected overnight unless someone has a natural affinity for it, but a lack of awareness does not make it any less real. Nor do we need to be able to feel it to control it. It may be a bonus but it is not a neccessity.
The next big issue I want to address about our QEB is that it is different from our consciousness, but what do I mean by this? Although both exist in this quantum-like non-material space, they are not the same. The following information was received/gathered psychically, so I will express it in italics.
“Consciousness and energy are not the same but they are highly interconnected. Consciousness is that aspect of us which learns, knows, and sees while energy is that part of us that feels and senses. In other words, our consciousness is our spiritual mind while our QEB is our ‘spiritual body’ – a body that is not our physical body.”
This explanation actually parallels how the physical brain and our physical body work together. The brain learns, knows, perceives and even has intentions and desires. It is the ‘awareness’ so to speak, but it is also intimately connected to the physical body that actually puts us into direct contact with the world in which we live. It is the aspect that allows for interaction and experience. The body and brain work as one and yet are separate entities. In this similar way, our consciousness and our quantum energy body work together at the subtle level but each has a very different role to play.
Think of it this way, if our brain tells our hands to clap, then the body responds and our hands come together to clap until such time as our brain decides to stop. The brain desires an action and our body creates that reaction thus giving us the experience of clapping, not just the thought of it.
In this same way, our quantum energy body responds to our consciousness much the same as our brain telling our hands to come together. It responds to the will of the consciousness. This is powerful information because it means that we can control our quantum energy body and put it to work for us – just as we can put our physical body to work for us. The energy body responds to consciousness – it is that which is affected by our intentions, thoughts, and desires.
And thankfully, both of these quantum aspects of who we are can also affect us here at the physical level and vice versa. The picture here shows how every aspect to us is all interconnected yet existing in various states.
